- Proverbs 28:26 - He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.
- 2 Corinthians 5:7 - For we walk by faith, not by sight:
- Ephesians 4:32 - And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
As believers, we are called to live by faith (2 Corinthians 5:7). But sometimes it's difficult to understand and apply God's wisdom. For example, the Scriptures teach forgiveness (Ephesians 4:32), but it's not easy to do when you're hurt.
Divine wisdom is seeing everything from God's perspective and acting according to biblical principles. This doesn't happen automatically.
Yes, the Holy Spirit lives within believers and guides them. But each person chooses whether to walk the path of wisdom or not.
If we want to live a life that glorifies the Lord, we must decide to follow Jesus. This decision changes our thinking and our choices.
No longer do we make decisions: • by impulse, • but from God's perspective.
For this, we: • search the Scriptures, • listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit.
As a result, we begin to hear His quiet voice more clearly, and worldly distractions weaken.
God is a loving Father who gives wisdom to those who want to live according to His will, and strength to stay on the right path.
Therefore, following Him is always the right choice.
