- Romans 8:26 - Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
- Ephesians 1:13 - In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise
The moment a person believes in Christ, the Holy Spirit takes up residence within them. Therefore, God's power has been present in the believer's life from that very moment. But how can we live out this power in our daily lives?
First, we must acknowledge our need. We must admit that we cannot live according to God's will by our own strength. No matter how capable, intelligent, or strong we may be, our own abilities are not enough to live the Christian life.
Second, we must surrender ourselves to God. We must submit every area of our lives to God's leadership—not just our worship or service, but also our work, family, finances, and relationships.
Third, we must walk by faith. Faith is not just accepting what God has said; it is moving forward while trusting in His promises. It is as if we are saying: "Lord, I trust in Your plan, and I believe that You will provide everything I need to accomplish Your will." When we walk by faith, God meets our needs in His perfect time and wisdom.
Do not stop at just learning these truths—apply them in your daily life. Remind yourself often: "I cannot do this in my own strength, but God can. His plan is both for my good and for His glory." A life like this is a life filled with the activity of the Holy Spirit.

What area of your life are you currently trying to manage by your own strength, and how can you surrender that to God?
