Can God Use You?

No circumstance can prevent God from using you for the purposes of His Kingdom. Lydia welcomed Paul and his companions into her home. As a new believer and a businesswoman living in Philippi, she immediately understood that her home, hospitality, and resources could serve God's work. She provided a place for the traveling evangelists to rest and continue their ministry. Thus, the Gospel began to take root in Philippi. God has prepared a life full of service and opportunities for every believer. Whatever our profession or calling, we must look for ways to serve the Lord every day. We do this by lovingly serving our families, friends, neighbors, and colleagues. The Lord grants His children spiritual gifts, skills, and opportunities to carry out His purposes. Therefore, we can be sure that God wants to use each of us. When you place yourself at His disposal and are willing to follow Him, God will provide everything you need. Are you ready to say, "Yes, God can use me"? If so, tell the Lord today that you are ready to be used in any ministry He desires. He will put people and opportunities in your path. Through His power, step by step, and through small acts of faithfulness, you will be able to do more for the spread of God's Kingdom than you could ever imagine.
