- Jude 1:24–25 - Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
- 1 Corinthians 10:13 - There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
- Matthew 4:1–11 - [Describes Jesus' temptations in the wilderness: the devil suggested turning stones to bread, throwing Himself from the temple, and worshipping him for kingdoms of the world. Jesus rejected each with Scripture.]
- Matthew 26:69–74 - [The scene where Peter denies Jesus three times.]
The Holy Scriptures are full of God's beautiful promises. However, we often find it difficult to believe that these promises are true in our own lives. Yet, God wants us to trust Him and be fully confident that He will fulfill every promise He has made. God promises that no trial or tempter is insurmountable for a believer. He always provides a way out so that we may endure and not sin. Jesus also experienced this. The Holy Spirit led Him into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. Jesus responded to every temptation with the Word of God and trusted His Father completely. The world we live in is full of traps, and we do not always see them in time. Even Peter denied the Lord three times during a conversation that seemed simple. But God knows all situations and understands perfectly how we should act in every case. When you face a trial or an unexpected difficulty, turn your eyes to the Lord. Let the Word of God fill your thoughts, guide your prayers, and stand firm by trusting in His promises. God is always faithful to His promises and will provide the help you need to endure at the right time.
