The restoration of Notre-Dame and the rebuilding of the Jerusalem temple serve as powerful metaphors for our spiritual lives. Today, believers are the temple of God, called to build one another up. Unlike physical structures made of stone and wood, this spiritual temple is constructed through encouraging words, prayer, and the exercise of spiritual gifts. We are all participants in God's restoration project, tasked with strengthening our fellow believers.
