- Hebrews 4:16 - Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
- Psalm 46:1 - God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Only God can soften hearts and open minds — let us pray and see how He works. Have you ever experienced people reacting negatively toward you? Perhaps you are facing problems right now in your family, at work, or in your relationships. The right way to overcome challenges is by kneeling in prayer before the Lord. The Heavenly Father invites us to come into His presence with prayer so that we can gain His perspective on the situation and understand how to act. But during prayer, there is often an internal struggle: between what we want and what God wants. In other words, between avoiding conflict and walking through it by faith. When we humbly pray to the Lord, we invite Him to be our guide in our situation and allow His plan to unfold. Scripture says that He is our refuge, our strength, and our help (Psalm 46:1). He may lead us in ways that sometimes surprise us, but we can be sure that it is both for our good and for His glory. Kneeling in prayer is an expression of humility and reminds us that God is the Lord, and we are His servants. In fact, God sees a humble heart even in those who cannot physically kneel. He knows everything, while our perspective is limited. Moreover, He is all-powerful. He can soften hardened hearts and open closed minds — something we cannot do ourselves. Let us make prayer an integral part of our lives and watch how God works both in our lives and in the lives of those around us.
