- Romans 12:2 - And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
- Philippians 4:19 - But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
- Luke 9:23 - And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
- James 4:10 - Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
- Colossians 3:2 - Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
- Philippians 4:8 - Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Following Christ is not a one-time decision; it is a path of continuous transformation. On this journey, God gradually changes our thinking to align with His. In Romans 12:2, the Apostle Paul calls believers not to be conformed to this world, as we are constantly influenced by the people around us, society, and prevailing mindsets. The world tells us to put ourselves first, take what we want, and prioritize our own interests. But Scripture says otherwise: God provides for our needs, we must deny ourselves and follow Jesus, and the humble will be exalted. Transformation happens through the renewing of our minds; we must set our thoughts on heavenly things and meditate on what is true, pure, and lovely. This means aligning our worldview with the principles of the Bible.
