Jesus knew well what poverty was, what it meant for His loved ones not to understand Him, and what it felt like when some of those He served turned away from Him. Yet, despite all of this, His trust in the Heavenly Father never wavered. We too are called to follow Christ's example and trust in the promises God has given. For instance, Hebrews 7:25 states that Jesus is able to save completely those who come to God through Him. Everyone who believes in Jesus Christ as Savior receives eternal life by grace through faith and becomes a new creation. Regardless of what a person has done in the past, God invites them to come with faith in Christ and receive the gift of eternal life freely. God also promises to strengthen believers who rely on Him in the truth. Through His Word and the work of the Holy Spirit, He helps the believer better understand His will and grow spiritually. As we trust in God's promises, our faith grows stronger and our hearts are filled with peace. Difficulties that once shook us lose their power. Hope replaces discouragement, and trust overcomes doubt. Therefore, the next time you face a challenge, focus your attention not on the problems, but on God's promises and the power of the God who is always faithful to His Word.
