Even the loneliest moments can become an opportunity to experience the closeness of God more deeply. Loneliness is one of the heaviest feelings a person can experience. God created us for relationship both with Himself and with other people. Therefore, at the beginning of creation, He said: "It is not good for the man to be alone." However, even the most faithful believers sometimes go through periods of loneliness. Remember Elijah, who was left alone on Mount Horeb after fleeing for his life, or Jesus, who prayed alone in the Garden of Gethsemane while His disciples slept. This was not a weakness of faith; it was a part of human life. When the feeling of loneliness comes, it may seem that God has forgotten or forsaken us. But He promises: "I will never leave you nor forsake you." His presence does not depend on our feelings or our circumstances. Whether we are among people or completely alone, He is with us. Loneliness should not lead us to despair. On the contrary, it can be an invitation to know the closeness of God more deeply. In quiet moments, we can open our hearts to Him and be assured that He is truly near, faithful to His promises, and never leaves His children.
