Love the Bible
Bible Readings
- Psalm 119:165 - Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
Have you ever considered the possibility of loving God but not loving the Bible? It may sound strange, but it is possible. There are Christians who go to church and love Jesus with all their hearts, but do not read the Bible.
While reading the Bible is not a requirement to get into heaven, it is an important spiritual practice that we as Christians are called to develop.
"Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them." (Psalm 119:165)
It is wonderful to love God and be grateful for our salvation. However, immersion in the Bible and a love for God's Word are also of great importance. By reading His Word, we get to know God more deeply: we begin to understand who He truly is, His love for us, and His true nature.
So, if you haven't made this decision yet, make time this year to read the Bible more. Even a few chapters a day can help you read the entire Bible in a year.
